The hearts, thoughts and prayers of everyone from the TBW team go out to all of the families who lost loved ones in Sunday’s tragic helicopter accident.
As a collective of lifelong basketball fans, we are so thankful to have experienced the gift of watching Kobe Bryant play at the level he did. All that pales in comparison with what the families, including Bryant’s, lost today.
As a parent myself, I’m heartbroken at the news that the tragedy took the life of his young daughter, Gianna, as well. I can’t even imagine what all of the families are going through, especially those with children involved.
As many have already said, hug those you love every day and never take them or your own life for granted.
Never forget, either, that basketball is simply a game played by your fellow human beings, whether you cheer for or against their team.
