TBW’s 2019 NBA Draft Bible

Everything you need to know is right here as you get ready for Thursday night.

Whether you’re researching unknown players who just popped up in your Twitter feed, or you just want a fresh take on your favorites, the TBW crew of Adam Spinella, Dan O’Brien, Bryan Toporek, Mort Stig Jensen, Antonis Stroggylakis and Enzo Flojo have been hard at work compiling hyperbole-free 2019 NBA Draft coverage.

Now, it’s all in one easy-to-use place. Just click on the underlined hyperlinks and/or watch the videos below. Enjoy!

First, you need the 10 Commandments of NBA Draft Scouting to see how our philosophy differs quite a bit from the mainstream basketball outlets.

No NBA Draft coverage is complete without the requisite Mock Draft, so we did two. The first is a traditional composite, but we broke down another into four parts:

Though Zion Williamson has (rightfully) captured most of the headlines, we’ve focused our coverage on many of the other names who are being underreported. That’s because this draft will likely also be defined by its many quality future role players and quite a few trades as well.

You can find full writeups and scouting reports on many of the top players broken down by Wild Cards, Defenders, Scorers, Lead Guards and Frontcourt Focal Points.

On the International players front, France’s Sekou Doumbouya and Japan’s Rui Hachimura are two key picks to watch in the lottery. However, quite a few other EuroLeague prospects and stashes could hear their names called, including big man Goga Bitadze and wing Yovel Zoosman.

Finally, enjoy an NBA Draft podcast as well as watching many of the top players’ Strengths and Areas of Improvement cataloged via video here.
